Default is scrapebox really that good?

I brought scrapebox a day or two ago but for some reason all comments I attempt to make will just say failed, it doesn't even appear to try, just skips and fails. I do find the harvester is very good but there a handful of free crawlers that do the same, I brought scrapebox for the commenting mainly so I'm rather let down to be honest!

Is this just a bad workman blaming his tools? I harvest fine and had a couple days of small bursts of about 300 and about 220 of those are accepted so I was happy but now it doesn't seem to try, I had one comment out of 600 on this run?

Plus does scrapebox post to forums? I saw a link checker in sb but I can't see it anywhere, so I downloaded the free one from sb site!

The reviews are fantastic but I'm feeling a bit duped as its only a harvester now, and that's not what I brought it for

Yes this pretty much answers your question. I have been able to get over 6k links just from blog comments in a week using SB...

i'll give you some scrapebox info that I don't think is posted anywhere here on BHW, because I'm feeling generous.

    Boot up scrape box.

    Load some proxies

    scrape some keywords

    Harvest some blogs

Get the pagerank on the blogs

Order the blogs by PR descending.

    ******stop********

Manually post on 5-20 blogs a day with PR 3 or higher with very few outgoing links.

    Then ping those sites.

25 high PR do-follow backlinks with little outgoing links other than your own can = PR3. Imagine what hundreds over a few weeks or months would do.

    Rinse, repeat.

    Is SB worth it? ab-so-lutely.

    Feel free to thank me.

Can scrapebox tell if a page is do-follow? Cause damn, there are so many people commenting on my no-follow sites...

(please people change a bit your pre-written comments, they blow)

Unfortunately no, SB can't tell if a link is no-follow. Somewhere on BHW is a firefox add-on that will highlight a link blue if it's do-follow and pink if it's no-follow, so when yer manually posting it will show you.

Me personally, I wrote a bot that loads each URL in a proxy and checks the # of outbound links, and no-follow status, then saves the results.
