Default Tweetattacks Pro Usage Tips / Tricks / How To

Having just upgraded my Tweetattacks I'm hoping to expand from simply using the follow/unfollow module which is all I've previously needed.

Would like to take advantage of the other features of Tweetattacks. I've read the manual but would like to hear from people that are successfully using this tool to make daily profits on Twitter.

Would any experienced users care to post their tips and advice on how best to go about selecting offers / marketing offers?

Any tips in general are also appreciated i.e. Do you simply direct followers to the CPA offer, do you use landing pages? Do you target specific accounts to specific niches?

I tried to use the advanced search string by copying and pasting everything from 'search?q=' and onwards but it returns an error. Was hoping to target people in an area that had searched for a certain keyword but the user manual doesn't explain this part very well.

    Anybody successfully used this?

Hopefully this thread can develop into a decent resource to help new Tweetattacks users get off the ground and start making profit.

Here's one suggestion. If you do an advanced search on this forum, put in "Twitter" as the keyword and select "search titles only", you'll get a bunch of results for twitter-specific programs and methods. You can apply TA in connection with those methods.

Nice Drax, I'll try that right now. Going by your signature I'm assuming you're a TA user?

Not yet, actually. I've been a Tweep user but am just getting into TA. I don't yet know all the difference between the two.

I did a lot of research before choosing one and they seemed very similar, although I did note a lot of experienced users were saying they needed both to be a Twitter 'guru' whatever that is

Seems like the most important features are that it's web based, has follow/unfollow with the ability to target niches and the autotweet tool based on keywords. TA does all this so until I find another feature I need, gonna stick with this one.

Default Tweetattacks Pro Usage Tips / Tricks / How To

Not very experienced. I'm doing this projects and I guess it can't hurt to give you a hint. What we have done is fairly simple. That's probably why it works so well.

    Install TA on a server
    Buy 250 shared private proxies
Buy Twitter account creator from the same developer
    Create/buy thousands of email accounts
Create thousands of accounts with pics, description and location (think where you want your followers to be from)

One important thing, don't include links in your profile and make it look really natural. You know what I mean, people in pics - stock photo of people with flaws and all, not just hot chicks!

Wait for a few days (3-7)
Run multiple instances of TA (depending on your server specs)
    Assign 5-10 accounts per proxy
    Don't run more than 1:5 threads - 1 proxy in the pool = 5 threads (e.g. 10 proxies - 50 threads - 50 accounts simultaneously)
Start adding users only from location search e.g. >> near:"Los Angeles" within:15mi
Don't add people with links and without pics
Start with 100 follows a day per account only, 200 after a week, 300 after two and so on
Start unfollowing 3-5 days after you started following with that margin and value - 100 a day in a first week...
Protect mutual followers for first 2k
Don't worry about VIP list, you don't need it

From day two or three start posting random quotes, jokes, scraped tweets, anything your can find. It doesn't help if you include mentions or questions. People start answering, you never reply, they drop. Other people see this, they drop too. Don't ask questions if you are not minding the account and planning to answer. Quotes and jokes work well. People will rt and you will get more followers. More rt, more Klout. After some time you'll have a bunch of people promoting your account as they see other people doing it. If you can outsource someone to login to those accounts from time to time and strike a conversation that would be great but you don't really need to. We have paid a guy to find and format packets of 10k quotes and jokes for tweeting for each account. Load and post every now and then - 5-10-20 a day, it's totally up to you. Don't do it too often 1) you will need many, 2) you will look like a bot ()

    Now you have two options:

Grow virgin accounts and sell them
    or
    Start promoting at some stage

The first one is a easy. Break 2k mark and put it up on sale. Keep them clean and very focused on location. Clean US/CA/UK/AUS/NZ (one country only) sell for $20+ in bulk. If you ask me that is extremely cheap but you can't sell many for more. You could sell for far more if you find a buyer that knows his game and is interested in your location but... People will tell you they saw accounts with 2k on sale for 5-10$. 1) random accounts yes 2) maybe some niche accounts (never know what will you get). You will need a month or less to do this and I strongly suggest you look into the second option
    The math is simple here:

TA and Account creator $170 one time

    Server $300 monthly
Private proxies $60 monthly (eg 260 shared IPs - proxy bonanza special offers)
    Outsourcing $200 - $500 monthly

Accounts created and driven to 2-3k - 1000 in two months or so
Sell under the market price in bulk for $20 or even less

    Monthly expense $700+-
    Monthly profit $10000+-

That's in theory. From experience I can tell you you have to cut that in half but you are still very good. You lose accounts (1-10% depending on how careful you are), you have some other expenses from time to time... you know what I mean. On top of that it's not that easy to move thousands of accounts a month. The good thing is that you can monetize all that you don't sell. And this brings much more than selling them!

Now the second option is what we wanted when starting this project. You have noticed that we went with location instead of following niche influencers and similar. Well, the idea is to promote CPA offers on those accounts. These are often tied to location and it's important we rack numbers and save on paid advertising we spend on promoting CPA normally. If you go down this path you can do it from the very beginning but be subtle. Keep your environment clean and followers happy.

Go to socialoomph. Register one account. Free works but you may want to go pro at some point, leave that open. Start authorizing your Twitter accounts. This is painful but it pays in a long run. You want to pay someone to do this or do some accounts a day yourself. Now with a free account you can use welcome DM message and summary of mentions. These are enough for now, later if you choose to go pro you will have access to scheduled DM. In Welcome DM craft a spinned message with your CPA offer. Do not follow back users as they add you (option). Yes to send mentions if you have someone working on your accounts to answer some mentions and DM for each account daily if necessary.

If you want to be nice you'll not post more than one offer in 10 tweets. I found this to be a really good ratio. For great results with this you want to pay attention to your stats. Track your offers closely and test different times to post them. When you find your sweet spot stay there.

Want to be even nicer? Drop #ad, #promo or #spon hash with your offer. Your followers will love you and won't mind you slipping these from time to time.

Don't go too much with promises and hype about your offers, be nice. ZIP and email submits can work once in a while but don't post only these because they are likely to get you banned. You know how these offers work, right? People get angry and frustrated and then report you for posting them...

A word about followers here. You remember we are searching for location enabled followers. The way this works is mostly through GPS enabled devices and well users that knew what it means to enable location in their profile. Twitter visitors are in general tech savvy but there are still some parents or housewives to be found. Well, you will not get those. Nor will you get inactive users. The way this works on real time search is that it gives you a targeted audience by default. Younger to mid aged. Tech educated. And you zoom in on location (glue one account to the same city). Keep that in mind when you are posting your offers. (Hint: Local mobile offers work good)

Again, similar to above this cranks some cool numbers.

    Development 2 months
    Investment ~$1500
1000 accounts with 2k followers each in a different city across US (for example)
2 million potential leads - but that's very random - let's say 100k quality leads (since we have filtered them from the beginning this is a very real figure).

What if you can get these to subscribe for a free trial? Or submit a short form, take a fun survey from time to time... or offer anything in problem solving niches - they don't need to buy a thing (CPA)! And you can keep them for free, use them anytime you want, monetize over and over! Break this in impressions and see how much would you pay for it in paid tweets, FB or PoF ads in a month. And right after they follow you you already market to them. You remember that DM on Socialoomph

There are a few more ways to monetize or develop your accounts that I'm not doing atm. One of them is described in a guide you got when you bought TA. Guerrilla wait and post. TA is scanning your keywords and posting mentions with your offer through the public stream. Many people swear in this method and if you are using long tail kws you may have nice income doing only this. We are testing it atm, success is at 0.001% (decent!) but those accounts are really often banned (we lose 1 on 100 tweets in average). This is not too bad as for this you don't need followers. You could accomplish much much higher success doing this manually and starting a real conversation.

Another one is doing CPC ads on your accounts. RevTwt or Sponsored Tweets are the two I know. Both legit and respected services. Again, some people are making nice income only on this. Max your accounts with localized or niche followers in a few months and post paid ads. These services limit you in how many tweets you can send so having hundreds of accounts here helps a lot.

Then there is Fiverr with paid posting...

You can do services with your TA - post a job on BHT - targeted followers! Expand to other forums....

Scale and tweak this to your needs/possibilities. I'm not saying you must start with a dedicated server. Although many of you already have one. You could use smaller one or VPS. 1 and 1 offers Windows Quad with 8G of RAM for $10 a month for the first three months and then $210 a month. You can even start at home from your rig if you have resources, bandwidth and can keep it on and running 24/7. You don't need to start with 1k accounts. Start with 10 to see how it goes. 10x2000 = 20000 followers in a month! Tell you what I was doing before this - 24 accounts and no proxies. Let it run 24hrs in one thread. Keep one more instance open to post tweets.

That was a bit longer than I was planning to write but there you go. Some ideas may be new to you or someone else. I'm sure there are many other ways to monetize this great app. Looking forward to read about them. Good luck.

    Stan

Stan there is one part of your post I have a major objection to. The first sentence

That is an excellent post and some very valuable information. Thank you for your input - I KNOW that is going to help a lot of people so appreciate you taking the time to have an input.

Some awesome ideas to get me and others started on Twitter and a good indication of the amount of work involved too. I'd be willing to try all of it except Fiverr which I find to be far too time consuming. Full of people expecting the moon on a stick for $5. The time just spent answering messages tends to take up more than $5 and you don't even get that much in your pocket. Used to run a traffic business on there but won't be going back.

All the other stuff is gold.

Agreed. I have included it here as an option to consider. Some people might want to try their luck. Plus you can flip 1k random followers accounts for $5 there.

I forgot to mention one thing above. When increasing the number of people you follow daily you shouldn't go higher than 600-700 daily. Just to be safe. This is two months into your account and you don't want to lose it at this stage. In TA tutorial they suggested something similar.

Yes looking at the numbers for follow/unfollow that are given in the TA Manual - they seem spot on to me. Been following that for the last 10 days or so but slightly more conservatively as I only have one account right now for my main site.

Since I upgraded I wanted to expand my Twitter tactics and your post is the perfect blueprint to what's involved. Looks like I just need the account creator now. Seems like you're doing very good money just selling followers and so on. I'd probs go that route too as I'm good with software but no CPA expert.

There's much more to be made if promoting. But even if only for your site. Not sure what niche are you in but you could drive hordes of people. Create accounts and follow thousands of people and then create feeds from your blog/site to those accounts. Brace yourself for some serious server crashes

I suggest you try with a few more accounts to see how it goes. You need that account creator if planning to develop hundreds or thousands but then there is more expenses involved with that.
