Default Almost no competition, how the heck do I cover my ass?

So,I found this niche...very low competition (under 25000 results)...problem is I`m gonna promote on youtube and I know that they`re not going to like this (especially what I say in the video),they don`t even allow paid searches,whatever...I just KNOW I`m gonna be first place for their product KW so I`ll be taking lots of money from them...The question is...how do I hide my ass? My plan is link and watermark video with my site---->redirect to the affiliate.I say even though I do double meta refresh (even though I don`t exactly know how) there`s still the problem with an youtube video being ranked first and if they go to the advertized link they end up on their site with my aff id.Any light on this?

If the keyword has that low competition.
Why don't you just try to rank your page for the keyword?
Then your page would get the traffic and the sales as well?

I believe he wants instant results
A well optimized video can rank high within minutes to hours of uploading for low competition keyword
But then again, if you want long term ranking, go for a website and seo it to rank for the keyword

Theres no hiding if you rank high, your network or AM will easily spot the video. Even if your metarefresh a link 5 times, theres no way you can hide your footprints. The solution is to abide by their policy and build a site for christ's sake.

My though exactly and if it is so low competition it is really couple of links from high ranking sites and your on the first page if not first.

Maybe I`ll just do that but I spent 1 freaking week preparing for a product only to see that exactly 5 minutes (I`m not joking) before I put out my website for indexing there was an idiot posted before the official site with page rank 2 . Since I`m at the beginning of affiliate marketing you can see how that threw me off and now that I found an easier niche (but 1000% less profitable) I don`t want to lose ground again dammit!

seems like you easily get scared. its matter of tactics and how well you implement it to get the rankings in the shortest period of time. if youre really serious about this niche, get a PR domain, at least PR3. You can get it for as low as 20-50 bucks on DP.

lol, dear it takes at least 6 months to a year. It also depends on how google dances. Sometimes update takes longer. I suggest you invest. The cheapest is 20 bucks

    Snowwhite,
Your reply about long term versus short term effects made me wonder about something.
Earlier this year I oustourced SEO to a for an European website to SEO agency. I believed this was necessary becaue many WH seo methods are more difficult to implement in languages other than English.
Than I discovered videos, and yes unlike things like articles, these do work in different languages - probably even better. I put out plenty of vids. And because of the results I actually plan on canceling the SEO agency. In your opinion, are the effects of the vids short lived?
I plan on releasing new ones almost every month not always with the same keywords.
So I was thinking to use the videos to SEO my site including links from the video sites to my site. Do you think this might not be a good move long term?
    Thanks!

The effects of video marketing are short-lived in terms of SERPing. Videos tend to stick for a period of time and then after a while, it will disappear or get lower in rank. Well-SEOed sites on the other hand obviously sticks longer if not long term. However, if you plan on depending your whole traffic and SEO to video marketing, then you need to make it big. Sign up to at least 30 to 50 video sites. Optimized each video based on your main keywords as well as long tail. Submit several videos weekly. You can even convert video to mp3 and submit it to podcast directories. You can eat your competitor just by doing video marketing. Should you disregard the SEO of your site? Definitely not! Video marketing is just a frontline arsenal, after a while, to achieve lasting business and ranking, it is your site's authority in the SE's that will give you a permanent place.
