Thread: Best Method To Start Gaining Traffic

Hey guys!

So I'm new to all this and was hoping to get a bit of advice. I've been doing research both on these forums and a couple others trying to get a couple ideas on how to begin driving traffic to my site. I've seen several names pop up like Scrapebox and Xrumer, as well as a lot of tutorials, but all of it is so overwhelming I don't really know where to start!

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated from a little noob like myself. :P Thanks in advance!

At first write good quality content which is SEO friendly and free from spelling and gramattical error. Then use meta informations properly. Then start doing off page optimization like blog commenting, forum discussion, article distribution, PR submission, link wheel, etc. Hope you will get traffic doing this.

the previous poster is correct, first you need to do some on site SEO, this means make sure you've got your keywords on the site and in the title, meta tags and alt tags for images.

hopefully you bought a domain with the keyword in it preferable a dot com

now its time to build some links, if you going to buy tools I would look at magic submitter (plenty of cracked versions flying around the net too) or SeNuke X (my preference) they do almost the same exact things but Nuke is much faster. then start to build some link pyramids. Build one new link pyramid per day for 10 days and then build one a few times a week.

ScrapeBox is a really great tool for building back links and has a ton of useful features, i am just getting into SB now but so far it really rocks. Xrumer is like backlinking on crack and if you are just learning about driving traffic i would stay away from it for now.

if you use the tools above you can rank top in google really fast. how fast will depend on your keywords and the competition, basically your goal is to get more backlinks than the guy that's number 1 for the keyword you want. as long as you don't leave some massive footprint for google to follow and your consistent in your baacklink building you should be fine.

if its a new domain then buy a few .info domains with the keyword in them and do a 301 redirect to your main .com domain just to be on the safe side.

if all you want is fast traffic then look into some twitter bots, Tweet Attacks is really good for the price and they update regularly i have not used SharePros bot but it looks nice, personally i thing my next major purchase will be his ClickTheif script as soon as i get some money back on other projects.

also yahoo answers marketing drives good traffic too

Scrapebox and Xrumer are the black hat ways for gaining traffic. Forum posting blog comments will get you few referral visits. But you would really want to focus on search engine traffic. Three broad steps would be.

onsite SEO
Great and regular content
Offsite SEO

If you want to make your traffic using white hat techniques then you'll have to perfectly complete your on site SEO by adding fresh and unique content. Start do follow link building with other relevant sites to your niche with article submission, forum posting, directory submission, social bookmarking.
