Do you think the Domain Age is THAT important into good SE rankings?
I plan on working on different projects in the upcoming years and I was wondering if I should buy all domain name already...

An old domain, parked too with no content, has a huge SEO value.

what kind of software is out there to check domain age, or do you just go to domaining forums and look for sales posts and check the whois?

Sure it has value. Age its one of the main factors on the ranking.

It could sound sarcastic but I have experienced it last year. Parked with a sad page (classic parking page).
I had a short word domain (5 letters) .com and owned it for 4 years. I hadn't no project for it because there was no keyword or business that I could attach to it. I have only tried on SitePoint marketplace. Boom, sold it for 2k dollars.

yes it is important.. when a visitor looks for your domain it is important factor. so domain age plays a major role in every aspect of seo. you can know the age of the domain from who is tool. you domain registry date will be displayed while checking it. with the help of that you can determine the age of the domain. i checked my domain age from WhoisXY.com

Domain age also matters but with that if you buy old domain then it is up to you to maintain that level of domain, and provide better performance to get more better results for that domain. Originally Posted by J0kerz

Actually domain age is one of the less significant fact and the main reason of purchasing domains earlier could be that if you make delayed then you may not get your preferred domain name and one more thing after purchasing a domain leaving it blank is not good tactics; hence, I recommend at least add a typical template of related nice Saying boldly "the site is in under construction, please visit back after 3 months or 6 months" at the home page then when you desire you can reformulate it.
