I just bought a new domain @ godaddy a couple hours ago (page rank 2) and I would like to know what I should do to keep

it like that (pr 2)

specificaly I need to know...

1)can I use a different theme (like change it from blog engine to wordpress...)?

2)can I add different content (in a simmilar niche)?

3)can building backlinks w different anchor text as originaly there hurt my rankings?

4)when I post the old content can I change the URL of each post or not..?

if you could help me w ANY of the above - it's greatly appreciated!

1] Changing graphics or theme will not affect ranking or pr of the site, untill and unless its just visual changes.

2] Changing content will affect pr as well as ranking.Because you get ranked depending upon your content which must be keyword rich. With new content you will get some new position. Its risky, yet backlinks are also important and they will be providing weight to the site. Changing content is not advisible, instead just ADD new unique content.

3] Anchor text are responsible for ranking for particular keywords. For all those backlinks which you have made previously, if you dont change them, then it wont affect your ranking, making new anchor text will get you up for another keyword. But you will lag behind in previous keyword against your competitors.

4] changing url will spoil your rank dangerously. New page will be required to get indexed again and you will lose your ranking for previous link as it will be showing error 404 to spiders. All the previous backlinking efforts will be lost, where you have given the previous link.
