Default Got Reported for Blog Spam - Can Someone Recommend a Webhost

    Hi All,

I have been doing SB runs for 2 months now for 1 site and some dick webmaster actually took the time to report me as a comment spammer.

So first off this was done through private proxy IPs and is not associated with my webhost or IP of my website. Needless to say the spam report made it's way to my webhosting company and they put me on notice.

Can some advise me on what to do? I don't want to have my account shut down it would be a pain to migrate my website. Also i don't want to stop my SB runs because 1 douche bag out of 1 million bitched about spam.

Also can someone recommend a good webhost that won't care about blog spam reports? Some said to get Netherlands webhosting but that was in the context of running an Xrumer server. Would the netherlands be a good option for getting stable webhosting that will ignore BS Blog spam reports from U.S.?

Millions of blog comments for 1 domain....
I wouldn't stress too much, I don't see your site being indexed for much longer...

Quit swimming upstream. Millions of spam blog posts gain you nothing but trouble. After so many blog posts Google ignores the rest anyways. All you're doing is shooting yourself in the foot and any cheap webhosting service will show you the door if you create any problems for them. As cheap as webhosting is there are no webhosts will put up with shit for complaints. You speculate it was one complaint that a webhost needs to look over. How do you know if you posted a million spam posts? Maybe they have hundreds.

Frankly, I'd like them to shut you down and chase after you - you make it tough for all of us that use a little common sense with SB and just like the automation and don't push it much past our own limited capacity but appreciate the automation. You should post as many posts as you could reasonably in a day if that was your only job. Of course SB will do this in a few minutes and you'll never see a ban hammer swinging your way.

Okay please just answer the question and do not clutter this post. Does anyone know of a good webhost? This thread is not intended to talk about how we like or don't like to use SB.

Dude - you could always build a free blog on wordpress, point it to your main site, then build links to your free blog. You will still get the benefit of the backlinks indirectly - however I agree with the earlier comments, why are you spamming the bejaysus out of your site? Its not gonna do you any good & you'll fuck up scrapebox for the rest of us.

I'll consider doing that then. Well this is Wordpress commenting and these comments were done over a 3 to 4 month period. That is just a few thousand a day, these are Wordpress, not type pad or blog engine. is that a big deal? isn't this what scrapebox was designed for? Most of these comments are ignored or askimeted and don't see the light of day. Am I the only guy using SB to shoot off a few thousand WP blog comments durning their runs? I've read posts of ppl here harvesting tens of thoughs or hundreds of thousands of urls i'm sure other ppl are doing this too.

    I was answering your question

Ignore our advice and take your practice to another host and we'll see you back here in a few weeks posting again the same problem. When the only common denominator to a problem is YOU then you should know where to look for the solution. Some people blame everyone else for their problems and never think they're involved or did anything wrong. You slammed your previous host and think you did nothing wrong. A few thousand frickin links a day - are you nuts??? Where the hell did you get that advice for link building? That is a goal for a month, not a day. Somewhere you have lost the whole link building concept. Best of luck to you, you're gonna need it. Get used to moving that site around.

I've done some pretty aggressive stuff with ScrapeBox and gotten some complaints from that, but I've *never* had it get to the point of any webhost complaining or getting a complaint. So I guess I'd have to second (or third, whatever) what some others have said here. Take a look at what you're doing, how you're using it, read yukinari's sbox best practices thread (read it again if you've already read it...then read it and all the responses again).

You're just shooting yourself in the foot the way you're using it, and yes the way you use it can effect other users of it as well.

I spam a lot really a lot. I have sent more than millions of spam comments with SB and never got any problems. You probably spammed some adult or viagra comments to family friendly blogs. Anyway they can not shut you down if they can't prove you sent the spam. Tell them someone of your competitors is trying to kill your business. If you actually have the money for a lawyer it will be a hell for your hosting company because comment spam is NOT forbidden by any law in any country. I suggest you stop spamming wordpress. It is no use. 99% of wordpress blogs are nofollow and they are heavily moderated. Also most of wordpress blog owners are mostly noobs who have no idea how to make money online and they spend their time moderating and complaining. Use SB harvest and PR check tool to find high PR pages where you can manually comment.
