Default Sneaky redirect from a .com to a .com.net

It's been happening to me for relatively popular websites. I type in the domain name, and it redirects me to the domain with a .com.net attached to it, and I land on a webpage with a bunch of ads on it.

What is this??? It's so annoying.

You have adware or a browser hijack, but thats just the surface. You may have more serious infection. Goto bleepingcomputer and goto their forums under "Am I infected". Read the stickies and you will end up downloading malwarebytes and hijackthis. Both free programs to basically assess and scan your computer and go from there.

Another way is to goto the kaspersky forums and get virus support there.
To get free kaspersky antivirus support, download kaspersky trial. Goto their forums and post under Virus related issues.
