whats the fastest way to get thousands and thousands of non targeted traffic?

I am in the process of finishing a site kind of like chat roulette that involves people chatting through webcam so I dont need targeted traffic because everyone and anyone can use this site to chat with eachother. How can I get thousands and thousands of visitors daily?

Thousands of visitors after launching a site? Get Oprah to advertise it. Aside from that it's pretty much impossible. You can get hundreds a day with social bookmarking (Digg, Pligg), or facebook/twitter advertising.

Work on your SEO. In time you would reach that goal.

See if the expired domain guys can let you purchase traffic from expired domains that have "chat" in the name. Or at least domains within a category that has a big demographic that might be interested in chatting (teens/young adults).

You still need somewhat targeted traffic. Would you rather get traffic from 18-30yos that do chat once in a while or the grandmother coming from i-really-love-knitting.c0m that doesn't have a webcam at all nor would even be interested in trying?

I would also promote on AIM and other IM services. Those people would be comfortable trying a new cam chat site.

I think PPC (pay per click) ads is the fastest way to get traffic ..

Thousand and thousand traffic in a fastest way? It quiet impossible. In the one way you can try to do it, that i s PPC but you will have to expend some money for this.

I recommend you to use both. Hidden links works very well as a Black hat and white hat has positive Flag to SEO.

Yes in time you'll get there, its not something you can get immediately.

My opinion is you should use social network. There you can get lots of traffic because many people may need that's chatting option and if they got that after that they send it on their friends as their purpose.
