Hi, I am wondering if dot com is needed when you create autoblogs? or does dot info rank just as well in google?
Thank you for your time

i've only been going for .coms but I hear that .infos rank just as well. Although they look spammy in serps. I'd try get a .net or .org if com is not available, but a few dollars for a .info you can't really lose.
Goodluck dude,

They might look spammy to "us" in the SERPs, but do they look spammy to everyone?
Check out this google search, for example. That site's been there a long time.
wouw unbeliveable
Interesting, I rarely see a .info at the top of the charts.
It's amazing what you can find on teh interwebs!
It's nice to know.
Almost everybody say that you need a .com to reach the frontpage in google.
now I can see this isn't true
I have had no problems with .info's. Got one and had it ranked number 5 for the keyword I wanted (With auto Blog) in the same amount of time it would have taken any other extension.
Most of my sites are not .coms but .org or.net and they almost all are on first page of google. I would say that .com is the preferable choice but I won't skip a good keyword domain name if it is .net
I think that if you are planning on selling the site, then go for .com as it looks more legit to prospective buyers(most people think all web addresses are .coms). But if you plan on keeping it and making money from it, go for .info they rank the same as the others in my experience.
I think that they look spammy to fellow marketeers, but the isn't general public isn't savvy enough to know the difference.
