    Default Masking the Status Bar?

Anyone know a way to mask the status bar at the bottom of the browser that shows what is loading so visitors can't see it?

That doesn't seem to work. It still shows everything loading THEN it flashes the message.

I tried to do this a while back but remember it only worked in IE, not Firefox (or could have been other way around).
