Default should doorway pages be cloaked at all time?

    here's my problem
If i was to generate doorway pages on my site
the content of those pages is usually crap although it is
keyword targeted most of the time it would be useless
to our visitor. and since most people agree that redirecting
using JS and others will get you baned what would be the benefits
of creating doorway pages without cloaking them

how would you use these pages to your advantage?
do you create them and put adsense on them and hope
visitors will click away via your adsens?
do you redirect them via undetectable script to a lending page?

As harro said it would be best put them on a throw away domain and
cloak them to your landing pages
but when i see so many d/way page generators without cloaking
    i just don't get it
could someone throw a bit of light on this one

    thanks

    Here's the best definition:

Doorway websites are web pages that are generated for spamdexing, this is, for getting them index into a search engine by inserting results for particular phrases with the purpose of sending visitors to a different page. They are also known as bridge pages, portal pages, zebra pages (a humorous arbitrary coinage by Jill Whalen of High Rankings Advisor), jump pages, gateway pages, entry pages and by other names. Doorway websites that redirect visitors without their knowledge use some form of cloaking.
