Default Will this work to cover my ass??

    Hi everyone,

I have been reading a lot about different ways to cloak links, fake referers, cparedirector, etc, etc. and... I am getting even more confused! lol

This may be a noob question but I am trying to build a list of incentive offers from different CPA networks and pay people to fill the offers... now most networks do not approve paying, but rather using other incentives like ebooks or movies, etc.

Ok, the question: if I make a list of offers cloaked with a service like bit.ly or the link cloaker, can the affiliate managers find out where that is coming from and that the incentive is hard cash? (specially if I am thinking on using a spread sheet, that would be emailed to my leads??)

    Thanks In advanced!

I forgot to add that I am planning to promote 1 or 2 offers per network so as to keep my earnings in every single network low and -hopefully- not to attract too much attention, lol

They can't see from where the traffic is coming (theoretically) but as soon as they will see lots of redirects from bit.ly this will make them wonder...

If your traffic will be HIGH quality then you don`t need to worry as greed wins with everything else, but if traffic will be low quality then you can expect your ass being kicked out.

thanks extraWinner for your answer, I am hoping that the leads could even convert as i am looking for offers like lovefilm, things that people would be happy to pay after the free trial has expired... I was thinking to use the cpa redirector, which means I would need to create lots of pages promoting every single offer. Any other ideas on how I could twist this??

yeah bit.ly etc service like that will hide where the traffic is comming from but like dude said once they see alot of traffic from this they gonna ask where and how you get your traffic and might want to see an example. especially if the leads are bad leads, one they might just kick you out, two ask for proof of your traffic and kick you out anyways, but keeping your earnings low per network is good, 50 -100 per network spread out through liek 10 network is a grand best bet.

try to throw white hat traffic at offers as well. to balance everything out.

Just use redirect.am to blank your referrer.
But your best shot would be to use CPARedirector...

Thanks Amberland for your input, when you say "keeping your earnings low" you mean $50-$100 dollars a day?. Also I was thinking that if they ask for proof, I can always create a simple page with the same bit.ly (as an example) on an incentive page. I could create a simple page with a couple of offers that I incentivise in exchange for some ebooks? That seems to be simple solution or... am I too naive?

I'll have a look Bryan, thanks. I checked redirector in the past but it meant creating a page for every single offer and then (when the page is created) the advertiser goes and pulls the offer off! lol

Youre definitely better off faking the referrer instead of blanking it. Taking the time to make a page that has your offer links will let you do this and have something to show your account managers if they want to see your traffic sources.
