Default Dreamhost: hosting+domain name for 9,24$/ one year

Ok, they are seriously over selling but who cares?
For the price of a domain name you can have hosting for free.
Just enter the code 777 when you register.

Ps: I think it only applies for US residents.

i used dreamhost and when i just started to earn some bucks and traffic, they cut me off. they said that my site eat their resource. that happened when i was at shared hosting. then i took a VPS, but the same thing there. so i decided to move to another web hosting.
so, my advice for you is: STAY AWAY FROM DREAMHOST OR 10TB!!!

I am using them for low traffic sites.

But if you plan to host a resource intensive site or a site with loads of traffic, better stay away.

noone can provide those bandwidth and disk space levels for that price if they arent overselling, plain and simple, you will never be able to use all of your allowances before being cut off, welcome to the world of crap hosts

Support is a hassle. I use them for a blog and probably will have to change soon as traffic is growing pretty quick.

They have no phone support. This was the first red flag. The second red flag was no live chat. The third was email support only >_

bingo, 1. tech support, 2.processor drain issues and 3. security are the most important issues with me. unstable hosting = unstable business.

I have a couple of really really niche autoblogs on it. Backed up elsewhere as well of course. No complaints. Good for expanding IP base.
