Default Hostgator Reseller VS Volumedrive Dedicated

I am deciding on buying a good webhost and my budget is $40 a month but I am debating on either a Reseller Plan for $35 from Hostgator or a Dedicated Server form volumedrive which costs $45 a month which is better and why and if you think of a better host in the range of $40 then say it or forever hold your peace

Its all depends on your need, if u need reseller account, u should go for it. Or if u need more resource u can think of Dedi server. Without knowing the type of usage its quite tough to recommend.

You would need to add another 25.00 to the 45.00 if you get a dedicated for the addition of cpanel or some other control panel unless you're good at Linux.

so even with the extra 25 bucks for the cpanel, it's still a lot cheaper than a hostgator dedi. think i might give that one a try.
