Is there anyway I can do that? I have googled my ass of, but to no luck.
That way I could sell lots of sites, and not have to purchase new domains.
Anybody have any insight into this?

1) you MUST have a Cpanel account with WHM so that you can create accounts and 'packages'.
2) if domain xyz.xxx is already hosted on the server? you can create accounts for sub-domains from within WHM. just do it as normal, but make the domain abc.xyz.xxx during setup (probably never dawned on people to try this!) - and it will all go through! (make sure that you set it to have it's own 'document root' )
3) you can now log in at abc.xyz.xxx/cpanel, and you will see that you only have access to nothing but the subdomain, you can not go 'up' into the domain's folder system.
4) the really WEIRD part? is that CPanel will let you make subdomains off of the subdomain account! (at least on my setup. I have done it and it RESOLVES???)
I am not sure if this will be of any great use as you would still have to keep the sites tied to the setup/server/account. so even if you sell the subdomain-sites? they can not be moved.

I think you can create subdomain under your reseller cpanel account, there is no need to have separate cpanel. All it take is a subdirectory under your cpanel account holder.
if you have reseller whm account, You can try to create different subdomain like sub1.domain.com, sub1.domain.com, as rhino suggested. So each subdomain will have its own cpanel user name and password.
I have never tried this though. Go try this and report back.
Well I want to have a good domain name. And create sub domain niche blogs off of it and sell them.
So I dont want all my customers using the same cpanel.
I think what rhino said may work, I didnt even think to try that. Too easy I guess.
It works, thanks rhino.
Not gonna try that sub.sub domain. Thats a little too far out for me. haha
just keep one VERY VERY important thing in mind...and that is?
it is still your domain, so it is best to make sure that the content that will be on the subdomains are ok with you. like: like, porn, illegal content, racism, etc
