Thread: EPN Account Terminated

I received an email from Ebay saying that my account is being terminated due to being attached to a previous banned account.

My question is how is this possible or how does this come about.

I only have one EPN account.
All I did was build a website and added ebay banner codes.

Nothing else.. Can someone shed some light on this?

Was your eBay account suspended? Or did you actually cookie stuff something?

Yes, it was suspended and no cookie stuffing. Strictly whitehat. That's why this is baffling. I even wrote them an email stating how legit my site was to Ebay and they came back a month later stating that my account will still be suspended.

This all happened a while back. I was just curious as to how this could happen.

Besides, since then I have moved and have re-applied and now I am awaiting an answer. Hopefully they say yes.

was your ebay (or paypal) account suspended BEFORE your EPN was suspended?

Well eBay, EPN, and PayPal have long been known to just ban people on a whim. Or it could be that you held a cookie they didn't like when you logged in. I don't really know if they can do that, but you get what I'm saying. It could have been anything so best not to dwell on it. They are one of the most annoying companies in the world.

Don't you understand what epn is doing? They are booting thousands of people
every day! They terminated a friend of mine and said that his account was closed for
lack of use! He makes $3-5k a month.

Their parent company (ebay) is not that much better. A couple years ago, they said that sellers could no longer leave neg feedback!! Makes good business sense, right?

It's turned into another bullshit site with all the retail buy it nows, etc. They have buy dot com, and a whole lot of other crap.

Man, don't get me started!! Actually, I will.......back in early 2000 ebay wall so much fun. You could even sell an antique rifle on it. But since it's in Calif, no more of that stuff. Ok I agree, to a point.

Whoops, sorry...you asked about epn. Yup, they suck and it's going to get worse. Was soooo much better when CJ ran it - you could actually speak to them on the phone!!
