Default Paypal Ebay/Paypal Strugge, Getting approved for a paypal debit card on a stealth account

So, like many people, I have been suspended from ebay before for seller non-performance over a only a few ebay transactions. Before that I had a 99% positive feedback with over 400 transactions. The account was indefinately suspended. I believe it was a competitor.

So, I made a new account, new ips, phone number, address, under and LLC etc..

Ebay made me fax in proof of identity so I sent in bank statements and a utility bill and drivers license (altered of course) and the account was good to go. Then it was onto paypal.

Paypal put on the limited account access with the first couple payments rec'd and wanted a social security number. I called and told them i wanted it in my ein instead. They put that in but then made me send in the bank statements and all of that as well. The account hold was removed and I was good to go, for a few days.

A few days later paypal put another hold on the account because of the products i was selling (used electronics). I had to send in invoices from my supplier. They lifted it again, but put on a rolling reserve.

Now it's a year later and the account has remained in good standing without being limited. I tried accepting a payment of $10,000 and it was again limited. They wanted me to show them proof of shipping before they let the payment go. Since this was a drop ship kind of deal, I couldn't float that much so I was pretty much screwed. I got paypal to reverse the transaction and the buyer sent me a check. (Made me look quite unprofessional.)

Anyways between all of this I applied for a debit card so many times and everytime my application was denied. I would call them up and ask why it was denied and they would always say "disputes in the past." One time they said that and I had never had a dispute opened. When I try to get them to explain they never have any good reason or any other information. It's total BS.

Apparently, paypal has had some changes. To get a debit card you now need to enter a social security number and birth date. This was never part of the application process before. So I just put in a fake DOB and put the last 4 numbers of the social security number as randomly 3333 and voila, my app was approved.

I don't think it's going to be long before they actually catch on to this, but I think some of you might be interested in this while it's working. I've only tried on one account so that's all the basis I have for it working.

I just set up a new paypal account in the usa--I don't have a usa bank account but I am a US citizen. Paypal is the bane of my existence. I am doing pretty well exporting from asia but I want to enter the usa market and paypal is absolutely essential for small to medium size sellers. This is pretty good advice, but I really don't want to set up an LLC if I don't have to. How much did you pay for yours btw?

It's because you are a LLC. eBay/PayPal assumes that a company wouldn't have a purpose to want a PayPal Debit Card, due to most business preferring transfers from PayPal to your bank account. You may be increasing the potential risk of your account by continually requesting a debit card every 40-60 days.

PayPal knows that this is how scammers make bank using eBay. A scammer will give up legitimate information like a bank account and do a couple good transactions on eBay, apply and recieve a PayPal debit card, and then start selling things like iPods below market value, then make
$10,000 a day, then pull all of the money out and PayPal then has a very difficult time tracking you down while they have to refund everyone who paid through PayPal.
