Thread: this product sells like CRAZY for 5x what i pay for it!!!

Well, single disc DVD's are replicated with ease, and there's a huge amount that sell on eBay as used, and nobody but the seller knows. Box Sets are almost the same, but much much higher profit margin than single discs because fewer people have the ability to replicate them.

Chinese DVD's are usually obvious fakes, with bad English spelling on the case, or the subtitles, or aren't read by North American DVD players... so its hard to find a good seller.

Yeah, I think the consensus is that you should drop the product and get out of that market. I think you should also be thinking long term here. If this supplier is telling the truth, then you could be in huge legal trouble. However, if the supplier is faking the seizure, then how can you afford to deal with this supplier in the future? He just yanks $850 of product on you and you just live with it?

I say cut your losses and just go another route with a different supplier, no matter how good his product is. Supply chain is too important here and you don't want to risk the legal troubles as well.
