I think some of the domains in there are good domains,
but may be did not like what you were offering?

I noticed that Hotmail clicks on your links from the following IP space:

    131.107.0.0/24
    12.190.158.0/24

The IPs are owned by Microsoft, and they click on links on three/four different hotmail accounts at about the same time. Would these be honeypot accounts? Does anyone has knowledge about what might this be?

About starting an anti spamtrap project -- please keep me posted since I certainly have the man power and information enough to process a lot of results already out there (clicks, opens, IPs, etc).

    Thanks for this useful post,
    Trey

How do you guys scrub your lists quickly against suppression lists? Also against just domains?

Does anyone know where to get a good validating software to be able to tell if the email is real or not to prevent bounces?

I wonder what I can make from a squeeze page that offers an "up to date" email list along these lines.

Of course I would offer a total BS list of emails lol

Theres a niche for one of you noobs! Would probably make some cash from the herds as well!

You can scrub using Send-Safe List Manager. There is a null for that software out there and it works great for scrubbing one list against another. You will also want to keep an eye out on Nanae as they are watching this thread and will most certainly add traps to Nanae. My suggestion is to scrape Nana Usenet group and you'll catch most of the crazy people there. The rest of the traps are operated by companies and organizations that operate a bit more professionally and will not cause you as much damages as the crazies over there on Nana do. I suggest you set your harvester to automatically refresh with a new scrape of all the groups here: http://rurls.ru/nana and suppress them all. All of these crazies put traps in their sig lines and cross-post through news readers to 10+ groups throughout Usenet.
