don't use too much java scripts and also avoid the extra ads. don't make your site unnecessarily heavy. that's it.

Compress the web page and images before adding to the site and avoid using more java script.

yes, By using more Java script,Ajax coding and adding more images will take more time for page loading.

You can try using fewer or smaller images. java script is just going to take longer to load regardless.

I have 3 websites that are using flash,obviously the loading time takes quite a while,sometimes it can get very slow. I noticed that WP-based websites do load much faster though.
