Is it possible to receive automatic notifications of sitemaps statuses to my e-mail? I have found out that google webmaster api allows to get any information about a google sitemap, but I would like to know if there are online services or easy to install scripts that can do this job?

Yes i think it can but that would be if you have Gmail.

You just need to switch your notification with inbox and you'll get your updates by receiving a mail.
