Google is a search engine and Facebook is a social media site. So what is the comparison between these two? These two are totally different in terms of using.

I'd say facebook is going to give Google a run for its money.

My wife says she can live without any search engines for a month but won't last a day without Facebook.

There is absolutely nothing to compare. Facebook is a known social media with huge amount of users, Google is a well know search engine with great amount of users too but the Google plus one might no beat facebook soon but will definitely get there.

I'm trying out Google+.

From what I read, Google is hoping that Google+ will be the facebook killer. Let's see how they go in terms of competition. Will we see google+ shrinking facebook's millions of users?
