Even if they stop payment, it's worth a shot at cashing. What are they going to do?

I asked one of the banks where i have an account. If they process a stopped payment check they charge me $32.

    That's outlandish.

I do not know if this is state specific but in Florida if you stop payment on a check, the person that is the payee can sue you and get the amount of the check plus court costs.

Right? And if i didnt read that FAQ section, I would have no indication that the check was no good.

just goto a check cashing place. if it's that important to you to get the money. they'll call citibank and verify funds and you pay 10% to cash it right away.

Check will not clear! Bank will return check to you and you have to make payment for fee.
If Check was cleared, you got ban from G you still received money

Does anyone have an experience where their check had a stop payment on it? Anyone?
