Thread: Banned, Stop Payment?

So... one of my Adsnse accounts was banned on august 24th. I just received a check from that account issued on the 26th. Should i bother to cash it or will there invariably be a stop payment issued on it?

They don't stop payments, you will be fine.

I cashed my check in when it was banned a couple years ago. Goto Citibank and cash it right there, cash. Citibank is I believe the bank used by Google. They will cash it out right there for you.

Don't just deposit it, because it will take 1-7 days to clear depending on your bank branch and routing number, so just try to cash it at their bank.

It was issued by Citibank. I don't believe that we have branches here (arizona 85251). When i do a citibank branch search it gives me 7 elevens and "money pass" locations...I like that idea though.

They won't cancel the check. Just deposit or cash it at your bank.

After they ban you they give you a link to an FAQ. They say that they issue stop payments on all checks. Is this just a scare tactic? How do you know that they don't stop payments?

The check is fine... if you do not have a place to cash it, just deposit it iin your account and you'll be fine.

Never ever heard that before. Got a lnk to that faq you can share?
