Thread: Traffic before Adsense?

Sorry for the newb question...
But, is it better to have traffic coming to your site before you add Adsense to it?

Some sites starts with no traffic and adsense
U will need traffic to get clicks so get some backlinks , social bookmarking , submit articles etc etc to get trafic

It does not matter if you have traffic coming to your site before or after you add Adsense, at the end of the day it's going to be a long hard struggle before you start before you start earning serious money with Adsense.

I started with AdSense, and then traffic came afterwards ...

But of course, you need traffic to make money from it - so, why don't you try getting traffic first and then adding Google Adsense. I know for me, that when I would check my daily balance against the amount of traffic I was getting, at first if was heart-breaking.

So, perhaps it would be best from a 'feeling' point-of-view to get traffic first - kind of save yourself a heartache !

Even with traffic its hard to get clicks, my site has alittle traffic and i dont get clicks everyday but get 1000's of impressions.

depends where youre getting traffic from I'd say. If its all organic traffic from the search engines, most likely those people wont visit again unless you have some amazing content and having adsense on it wont hurt.

Well, I personally put adsense in first. Because those traffic might give me some clicks.
