Thread: How To Get Wordpress Backlinks

So this is a really basic question. I tried Google and "Search," but I didn't succeed in finding the answer. So basic, perhaps, that it isn't even asked.

How do I get backlinks with Wordpress? Now I know the site is preferably ****************, and I have a PageRank add-on for Firefox. I also know that in many cases, you need to get a comment approved. This means it needs to be reviewed by someone, generally.

Now my problem is that if I want my site, let's say "bananaboat23," to get the backlink, there is a "website" option. If I put my website in that space, it becomes a link. Typically, I would presume this would be a legitimate means of a backlink. I am getting the impression this is not the case.

Next, I thought I need to put the address in the comment itself. So in addition to using it as the website (why not), I put "I have a similar site called bananaboat23." Then I paste the ulr into the comment. However, I am thinking maybe this isn't enough, and I need some sort of tagging to be done?

My issue is that I see tons of people spamming comments (it's obvious) as I look at blogs, yet not all of them have the urls in the same place. I don't want to start heavily posting on blogs for nothing, as it appears many of these people may be doing.

3. Submit quality articles to top 100 press release sites
4. Create some nice good articles,send to couple good article sites
