Links quality is better than quantity because if you make many links but those are not quality links then there is no meaning of getting links. SO always try to make the quality links and with that you can get the high PR as well.

I prefer 10 quality backlinks because these 10 quality backlinks will help you to increase your google PR.

Well the quality of your backlinks should be put under serious consideration. Its better to have few quality backlinks than have large amount of useless links that won't get your site anywhere near search engine rankings.

The most important idea I take away from posts like this is that you can't just build a blog and expect your audience to somehow find you. We have to work to build traffic in addition to content, and mix up how we do so. Most of my limited traffic comes from search, so I supposed that means I should start trying to gain some traffic from social sites or by building relationships with other tech bloggers. I'd rather only write posts though, but there's no point if no one reads what I write.

quality always matters in link building. if you have 10 quality backlinks than 100 spam links then it will be much worthy.

Of course quality comes first. Don't care about the quantity cause Google will count and give much priority on the quality.

Quality might come first then quantity, quality is always preferable to any search engine.

Quality is first not quantity. If you have 5 high quality backlinks, it will be more effective than 50 low quality backlinks.
