What is linkbait?...

Link Bait is simply the way of gaining attention from other websites posting irrelevant, attractive, controversial and interesting content so that people get visit to your site and naturally build link to your site. It's a great way of making traffic and backlinks but there's an argument about this whether it falls under white hat or black hat.

linkbait is a feature within a website to have the attention of visitors. it encourages to click on them and help to have backlink from them. There are a lot of ways to do that, including putting in sweat-of-the-brow work to generate data or insights, or it can be as simple as being creative.Linkbaiting seems functional but it deals with a little bit of effort.

It is interesting enough to catch people's attention.

it is not good for your site cause Google don't like it. and its just making people Fake. so avoid it.

The word bait means trying to trap someone without their knowledge but still it can get you a lot of incoming traffic from different sources.
