Is Internet Marketing dead from all the hype and competition online? As many people might think this, the opposite is actually true.

The Internet is growing and becoming much more resourceful each year. Millions of peoples are now coming online to take educational classes, chat with old friends, play online games, or pay their bills. In addition, you also have social sites where millions of people flock to discuss specific subjects such as American idol, Nascar, or Golf. With this in mind, it is clear to see that Internet Marketing is not irrelevant and is becoming more relevant and a possible business platform for someone seeking to escape the rat race.

But there is a “catch”, and that is over 80% of people never get a check of over $100, 15% get the occasional check and the remaining 5%; or the ones who are willing to treat it as a real business, are the ones who get the monthly checks.

Education is Key?

There’s literally dozens of books advertised online on websites that make claims of easy earnings. Most of the programs out there though are what they call “rehashed stuff” meaning someone gets resell rights of other people’s ideas and market them under their own name, or sum up another programs ideas and give it a new name. This is common , but a factor to keep note of.

Despite all books and resources, what internet marketing and making money online boils down to is how to implement the knowhow. No books nor any marketing courses can come anywhere close to pure practical experience. This is the same with any business venture; whether online or offline.

What’s the Verdict?

If you want to make money online learning how to market is the first step. The key is planning and setting up basic strategies that can aim at paid or free traffic, and executing these strategies successfully. The activities with the highest leverage should be key also to anyone looking to go from “0 to 60” online, and these include keyword research, finding profitable markets and partners, and getting information on affiliate networks, guides and a variety of valuable resources.


By treating internet marketing like a real business, applying a business-like mindset to your goals, results, and activities, things will eventually begin to snowball and you will naturally come up with better ideas, resources, and even products that can lead to greater success.

Its true but, most people take a look at something, fail and move on. IM is easy if you do it right. MLM, affiliate marketing or any other industry. Its all the same, around 90% plus of every industry fail. Its natural for people to quit, they are the losers. You just gotta pick an idea and work on it, be consistent and make money.

yes, that's sort of true. There will always be millions of people buying things online for at least another hundred years so we are safe. We can always sell products in demand and make commissions. If your struggling to make money, promote things in demand. Become an amazon affiliate or an ebay affiliate, look at new trends. Find products with low competition on Google. If you don't know about marketing, read some courses on this forum. Just promote affiliate stuff, its very easy and you can always find profitable niches. There are a lot of saturated markets but there are new niches popping up every day that we can dominate

I don't think internet marketing is over.If you have a good knowledge on internet marketing,you can make your business profitable.So from my point of view internet marketing is alive and Its gonna create some more buzz in the upcoming periods...thats for sure.

I don't believe that internet marketing will ever be over. Until people actually stop using the internet all around.

Online business is still business. Internet marketing is still marketing. Long-term, real financial success depends on recognizing this.

Get rich quick schemes, backdoor tricks, SEO fads, and marketing gimmicks will mostly fail. Even those that don't fail will quickly become saturated and/or useless due to search engine and consumer adjustments. The only way to assured, continuing success is a lot of hard work and real world business practices. Everything else is far more likely to fail and short-lived at best (and in some particularly frustrating cases, a lot of revenue forever locked in a banned account).

Beyond just failing to recognize that a business must be treated like a business, laziness is the biggest killer. People want free money and "turn key" automatic money making solutions, but that isn't the way the world works. If free money were that easy to get, we'd all be multimillionaires by now. People just don't want to put in the work and effort necessary to become a success. They don't want to take the effort to research and learn. They don't want to put in the work to do proper backlink building. They don't want to spend the hours necessary to produce good content and attractive websites. Most of those people will fail, miserably and horribly, and then complain about how they can't make any money. Just like any other business you need to WORK, and I mean WORK HARD, if you want to see real income.
