Default Need An Idea For A Product? . . . Try This!

    Hey B-Hatters:

About a month ago, I posted a share in the Member's Download Section called "Desperate Niche Dollars". You can get a copy here:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/110251-get-wso-desperate-dollars-niches-60-insanely-profitable-niches.html

What the author of the book did was to find 60 niches. He did some minor keyword research. Then he found some matching affilate products and included his keyword findings and links to the affiliate network signup pages for the products in the set of PDF's that he offered.

The author's product was okay, but what was especially cool is that it sparked an "Aha!" idea in me.

If you are good with basic product/keyword research, you can easily do what the author did, and even OUTDO the author by giving more keywords per niche (Use SENuke for keyword research and use their simple "This one is easy to rank for", "This one is not the easiest to rank for, but doable ", "This one is Super easy to rank for") type of comments next to your longtail keyword findings. Of course, you can use the Google Keyword Tool if you don't have SENuke, as long as you know keyword research.

In addition to finding and including the hot product niches and keywords, you can also include some basic techniques on how to use Social Media authority sites, etc to get backlinks and get to the 1st page of Google with their offer. Maybe even offer a Camtasia video or two which would show how to do it.

You could create a series of these "Instant Hot Niches" products created sort of like Angela Edwards Backlink Packs and Pauls Backlink packs. The only difference is that you would be offering Hot Niches Packs instead of Backlinks Packs. Sell them to a limited amount of buyers to avoid saturation (this also creates "scarcity", which is a great selling technique, as we all know).

Internet Marketers are people, and people like things that make it easier for them to do certain things.

I think this could be a winner if it is done well, and if you provide great content and easy to follow instructions, there should be no reason that it wouldn't work.

And the cool thing is that you could do this over and over (like Angela and Paul).

Well, that's my idea. I invite your input on this and maybe you can offer some enhancements to this method.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"

Just had another thought . . . If you wanted to beef it up and add even more value, you could include single-page landing/squeeze page templates for each niche in PHP and/or HTML.

Whoa! I am working on something very similar to this.

This is a great idea and the concept can be applied and expanded upon in many different ways.

Like I said mine is similar. My price tag looks like it is going to be $20.
Hopefully net around $900 in week. Now off to finish it....
I plan on this being an introductory price, One problem I was having was with the pricing...
Then I will expand the features and Increase the price.

Any suggestions on price tags? Market place is forums to start....

Take this basic model and expand on it and YOU WILL MAKE MONEY.

    Good post Wiz

    To KBC-12:

Since you would be offering a limited quantity (maybe 50 copies or so), I would test it at $27 which would be a fair price. A lot of it depends on the quality of your product, how much work and how long it would take you to put it together.

Probaby WF would be the best place to sell it, and the second choice being DP. Initially, the idea would be to get a buzz going about it. After that, you might want to make it "exclusive" for member's of your own membership site. Then charge a monthly fee for your membership site. After that, you won't need to sell your monthly "Instant Hot Niche Packs" on a forum. Exclusivity is an appealing selling point.

50 was the exact number I decided to limit it to. HaHA.
I plan on giving away two free review copies. So, 48*$20-fees and outsource cost= $900 net.

Thats what I meant when I said,
"I plan on this being an introductory price"
"Then I will expand the features and Increase the price."
Good to hear you echo some of my thoughts though.
    Thanks for the reinforcement Wiz.

So do you think $20 is to low? Im just not sure if it is worth much more. The plan was to make quick cash on dp, get testimonials, and clients, all in one with the $20 price tag. Then scale up.
By the way it is going to be a single niche package...

As an introductory offer, $20 isn't bad. Research has shown that uneven numbers work better though, like $17 or $27.

Humm, interesting. Nice tip. Gotta love the nuances of marketing.

I was also thinking of doing... For the first 24 hours it goes for $15 if the price stays at $20 or first 5 or 10 buyers get it for $15. (50 buyers Cap.)

If i go with the uneven theory... $14 for the first ______(fill in the blank) and $19 thereafter....

Any thoughts on those numbers? Any thoughts on first 24 hrs Vs. first 5-10 buyers? As far as which one invokes a sense of scarcity more?

    Thanks in Advance

    See the page below:
    Code:
    http://membership.pickthebusiness.com/articles/membership-site-software/best-membership-site-software.php
I did a Google search to find it. I have personally never operated a membership site. I am aware that there are several downloadable scripts here on the forum for membership site software, and I can reasonably assume that if you do a forum search here at BHW, you will find several threads relating to the subject.
