Thread: Is teenage traffic worth anything?

Hi guys, I was just curious about a small question. Is teenage traffic (you know, 13-17 years old) worth anything?

I mean its not like they have a credit card to spend money. Any ideas?

I've found any traffic is worth something, it just depends on the niche. That age group would be the right demographics to target free stuff to. Things like free downloads, game trials, etc.

Oh you'd be surprised at how many of them do have credit cards and/or money to spend. Plus they are young and foolish and can't wait to spend those mad benjamins they be makin' yo yo yo know what i'm sayin'....

13-17 year olds do have access to credit cards (the upper section of that age bracket anyways). Most of them are willing to spend money on real stupid stuff too because it is not their money.

If you see they aren't spending any money then you can always direct them to PPI such as Harro's LoudMo.com

I think that's the perfect age group for doing download paying scheme, entering survey schemes and the like.

Basically they buy consumer crap. If you don't sell to the traffic you can make a small fortune selling ads on your well traffic'd site.

yeah, I didn't look at it from this perspective.

This is just my experience and what I've noticed.

The younger they are the more they click on ads.
Teens click on adsense related ads more than any other age group.
Younger children go for the worst ads ever (blinking, flashing, moving)

Anyway that's what I find on my sites. My teen oriented site has 15-25% CTR on adsense.
