Thread: What can you do with a web scaper?

Saw a couple of apps, one called web data parser, and the other called Screen Scraper Enterprise, what can a blackhatter do with these tools?

Also on the same subject, can you use these tools to dynamically post your scape results automatically? or is this just static data.

Is there such a thing as a scraper/post software combo?

Have you ever heard of WP-O-Matic? That is what I would call a scraper/post combo but it is for Wordpress and not a stand alone application. A scraper can be used for a ton of different things like grabbing videos off of a website, grabbing links off a website, grabbing content from a website, or you could scan the results of a search in Google for your targeted keyword to determine what your position is. The uses are endless, you just have to think of out of the box ways to use things.
