Encryption Software - PHPCipher vs. SourceGuardian
Hi guys,
... for quite some time i have been using sourceGuardian to protect my scripts i created before i shared them. However - although SG is pretty save it's in some way sometimes a pain in the ass for the one using the protected script as the SourceGuardian Loader needs to be installed on the server - and not all hosts have it preinstalled already.
Recently i just came across phpCipher - of which i had not heared before.
My questions now:
a.) Is phpCipher decryptable?
b.) is phpCipher at least as secure as SourceGuardian?
c.) Does phpCipher also require some weird stuff as sourceguardian does?
Thanks a lot in advance for every helping note. :-)
cheers
