Default Anyone uses WP Thesis Theme? I have some question.

I use Thesis theme on my WP website. Would it be necessary if I also install All-in-one-SEO pack?

    Thanks,

    Enes9

Hello jts2005, thanks for the response. I ask that question because as I know thesis do a lot of the Seo thing. What I find interesting on all-in-one-SEO Pack is the feature that it automatically creates meta tags.

Platinum SEO plugin is even better (even the admin of this forum pofecker said so) but yes you need to install at least one SEO plugin, I actually have like 4 or 5.

I beg to differ with the others. I use Thesis Theme for my blog and I find no reason to use any other seo plugin. My blog is doing fine without that extra load on the shared hosting.

I suggest you stick to Thesis alone. The new version 1.7 adds a few more kickass seo implementations.

Check out my blog for yourself - PR 2 with decent alexa traffic within 2 months of implementing Thesis on the site. I had used joomla about 2 months prior to this. Didn't do so well.

    I hope that helps.

I always use platinum seo. It was just what I was trained to do. I love Thesis! You can make so many blogs all with completely different looks.

Not sure if necessary, but I will continue to do it.

i think u have nothing to lose if u install the plugin...there's not conflict with plugin and ready optimizing seo theme...

but if u don't have the plugin while it gives benefits although a small one, u miss the advantages...

    just install it...nothing to lose...

I've read that you don't need to add anything to Thesis. The real value is to add ScribeSEO. Check the site.

Thesis advertises that All in One SEO / Platinum SEO aren't necessary - and that it already does the functions that they do.

Have never checked off all options to ensure they're there. If the data is already in Thesis, AIO SEO / Plat SEO may duplicate some of the settings, making the result spammy (just a theory, never tested)

Good theme, bit of a learning curve but then it's solid.
