Thread: Different country PR backlinks vs low PR local backlink

What would help my side better for Google Australia PR1 (AUS) vs PR3 (NZ) and all other factors like related site backlink are the same.

Remember that google's "page rank" is not, despite the name, a rank for given pages but the rank that results from the a link-analysis algorithm created by Larry Page.

His algorithm, as far as I understand it, makes no allowance for the countries in which the ranked site exists. So a PR9 in Elbonia should have more weight than a PR8 in the U.S., all other things being equal.
