    Default Is this even possible??

k so im doing my keyword research and found some interesting keywords.

    I use gtrends.

So I found a keyword that is being searched 2428 times a day and has very little competition, around 9850. but even then gtrends shows that this kw gets 11 actual visitors per day. IS that even possible? with a kw being searched so many times how can it get only 11 visitors?

Keyword combinations using that same keyword? They must be searching for something other than the main keyword you are researching, otherwise it doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm not understanding your question either, but it's hard not knowing what you are researching but I understand why you didn't note what it is too.

thx for the reply. but it is a simple keyword. it has nothing to do with the combination.

Im asking because i want to develop a site for that keyword and just want to make sure if i am not making any mistake.

I'm not sure that any of us completly understand your origianal question? Care to clarify a little? The simple answer is to throw up a page for the keyword you are targetting and see what happens...there is not usually a silver bullet answer for this stuff.

Not an expert, but if your working with a basic keyword theme an idea is to build many mini-sites in order to dominate the keyword thread. Then you can funnel them to where your
    your main site is

the keyword tools are not reliable. the only way to know is to run a PPC campaign for the keyword you want.

can you please explain this a bit more.... so should i get lots of keywords and then make one page for each of them and then link them together? is this what your saying? Wont SEO be a pain on such sites?

You could run a PPC program through Google AdWords, but if you aren't experienced with PPC campaigns this will just waste your money.

Throw up a page on Squidoo or HubPages that's optimized for your keyword. Social Bookmark it and submit a couple articles with resource links to it at eZineArticles, GoArticles, ContentCaboodle, Search Warp and etc.

With such low competition you should be able to reach the first page of results easy in a matter of days, so leave it up for a week or so and see what kind of traffic you're really getting from the keyword, then you'll know if it's worth putting more time or resources into.
