I think both are same, MS using google database for search volume, only MS displaying daily data and google keywords monthly data.

I would personally say Google, Reason being because they are the god of the internet if you so put it. There the main search engine and they are going to have accurate results for what people are searching for , what keywords they are using etc, So they will be more reliable in my eyes for a keyword tool.

i think manual keyword research is the best way...but you could use MS or micro niche finder to fasten your work.

I would recommend using MS because you can see a quick glance how hard the keyword competition is. With GWT, you have to check manually one by one.

None of them are accurate including Google!

Tools like MS & MNF fetch data from Google. So I use all tools like Google keyword tool(both older and new interface), MS & MNF for selecting my keyword

Yea don't use just one, use many to make sure you get as many keywords as you can find... although MS doesn't really seem to like lists with 1200+ keywords in them.

Google Keyword tool is the best option. I would even say that it is better than Wordtracker. And I wonder why wordtracker is regarded as the most accurate tool, since all it does is extrapolate the search volume numbers taken from some meta-crawlers.

Google keyword tool on the other hand has the most exhaustive database in the world. And best of all, its free! Take the exact match keyword from Google keyword tool and you are closest to accurate search volume.

Thanks for all of the replies. I do use both, and when I seen this one keyword had way different search results in google then ms, it just got me thinking.

I think ms is more accurate to be totally honest. I know big g is top, but have you ever got an exact search ammount that did not end in zero? Just gets me thinking.
