How to increase traffic by using SEO?

Hi BHT!
I just download a wonderful software from BWT,This is SEO Power Suite.
I know that it is a great tool,but problem is no guide to use it.I have some questions, and hope that anyone can answer all
The first is the main works of SEO?
and how we should begin?
the last,can you give me the guide of SEO Power suite?

Increase traffic using SEO by making your site at position #1 on Google SERP with the keyword you want to rank for. If you get it to #1 position, definitely your traffic increases but conversion will still depends on how good is your keyword is. There are keywords which are highly search but they're not buying keywords.

I don't have a guide for SEO Powersuite, but I think there is a user guide on each module that you can read.

the best seo training is, get a site and mess with it, study every movement , you might find some courses here & there but not all the em are legit and worth reading
