Thread: how your opinion which is the best software to desgin wordpress themes?

Artisteer, very easy to work with.

I've never really used Artiseer or Xsite pro in depth, but they're apparently the same thing and Xsite pro you can get here

Problem with Artisteer is that everything looks the same, no matter how different you try to make it look. You can tell an artisteer page quickly and I think that's a minus point.

Unless the Artiseer page actually looks good and provides good add ctr, in which case it would be fine to use because people who are going to click on your adds aren't going to even know what an Artiseer page is ^_^

You can def tell one easily, but depends on your skillset which is the 'best' software to use. Artisteer is great if you have no design/coding skills. It's WYSIWYG so makes for a quick result too.

I do it with notepad++ for editing and xampp for testing environment. No need for fancy programs that give you WYSIWYG editing.

Artisteers coding is so bad, shambles comes to mind

i use socrates theme since i am not a coding person to design my theme
