Thread: Huge traffic drop after server migration

Just moved from vps to dedi server 2 days ago and traffic dropped big time.
I did it correctly, but traffic suddenly dropped.
Just changed name-servers and ip. I checked everything and works, didn't have more than 1 h downtime.
Anyone happens to know what is this about ?

I dont know why, but I also changed to a new server (from dedi to shared) and most of my sites dropped in traffic... is it a shared DNS server from your hostig company? As I had my own DNS servers on my last server, everything was fine... but now I am using the DNS of my hosting company, it is used probably by thousands of other domains...
