I have one .info ranked on page 1 for local real estate term and it takes so much more linking to keep it on page 1. I just now think they are more risky and if time is money I don't want to put that much time into it.

i have tried info for them bikini keywords, never worked for me, i still prefer .com, and if you get an info and rank, someone else would get the .com and just rank better in a few months.

I have not tried .biz I just thought they were way off the scale, and in fact I have not seen many .biz on page one, they seem to have lost traction over the past couple years.

That is if the .com was active or even available. How many times did you have to get the .net / .info because the .com is just parked? Too frustrating...

If you plan to get recurring visitors like a forum. .com is the only solution because many internet noobs always think that every site is a .com (I see many of those at my work place)

But if you plan do get visitors from google and they are not returning visitors, it won't matter which extension is it as long as you do your SEO homework.
