Default It's been 4-5 days and my site is still not indexed!!

    Hi Guys,

I have bought a domain name with the keywords in my domain. Google reports 2000 local monthly searches for this keyword, and global searches are a fair bit higher.

Anyway, I have installed wordpress on there and the theme is not a typical 'blog' theme, ie - you would not identify it as a blog, but just a webpage promoting a certain product/niche.

So, wordpress is on there and I have thrown in a small amount of "keyword" into the text so that google sees it as relevant.

But when I go into google and search for www.mydomainname.com it says something like 'could not find www.mydomainname.com... did you mean...".

Is it typical for it to take so long to get indexed naturally?

I have bought a 500 backlink xrummer service that will be activated soon (currently still not building any backlinks yet) but I just want the site indexed so I can get some motivation to work more on it.

What if, besides my main/home page which looks more like a website promoting a certain service provider, can I create a tab/sub page called something like "News" and get an autoblog (or even manually) to post related articles to my blog, will this make google index me quicker (and will it help with my over all ranking?

    Thank you!

4-5 Days is way to long to get indexed, I can usually get a new domain indexed in under 12 hours. Read this thread and give it a try

I've submitted to google already about a day ago (20 hours ago?) but it is still not indexed, and also not in bing either.

If I set up auto blogs to post new articles daily, will that help my site get indexed? And by continuing to post articles on a daily basis, will it help me rank at all, or is that only good for indexing?

ping, bookmark, and submit your rss feed for your site. there is a tool in here if you search that gives you tons of backlinks really fast. your site should be indexed in 12-24 hrs

Well, I've just used the tool that was linked in the first reply of my thread here and I'm not sure on what principle it is working, because the pages just finish loading and then it opens a new set, but I let it run through about 200-300 or those URL's (I don't want too many backlinks showing up fast)

I have seen some of the RSS methods, I guess I may have to look into them a little sooner. I just don't understand when people say "ping" tit and book mark it. I know how to make the feed, and that I should inclune all the URLS in the feed etc but I don't understand those other two parts. I have scrapebox.

I can get your, or any, url indexed in less than 3 hours. Normally less than 1 hour.

PM me your URL if you want, and I'll get it indexed for you before 3:00am EST.

LOL your site is not even indexed and you are ready with xrummer blast... Good way to put your site into sandbox once it get indexed...

Use what people suggested and have some patience... Some times it take more then few days to get indexed... One of my site took 15 days to get indexed and with in next 15 days it was in no 1 rank and from last 3 months it is ranking there and for several related keywords... So wait and make few backlinks, post some content, on-page optimization...

Keep xrummer for later use or use it on one of your web2.0 pointing back to your site..

I will take it into deep consideration. But from what I read, the xrummer blast won't put it into sandbox so to speak, but rather 'where it belongs' because google will think I am worthy of high rank as the links are coming in, then when they die down, it thinks 'okay the site is not popular anymore' and ranks me lower where google sees fit. But I plan to build constant links (manually probably) to keep it up there.

    And now you're indexed

    (even without the "site:" operator)
