if i do blog commenting is it neccessary to make my key word in the name field in comment box.if i use my pen name and give link of my site will it give me benefit?

sometimes the name work as your anchor text so you have to use the keyword in the name section.

I think it will effect your page rankings. So I suggest you to use keyword.

That will depend on the blog you are commenting to, there blogs that allows keywords in name section and some are strict and a name, in this case it is advisable that you use your real name.

Yes, Blog commenting is still very effective type of backlinking. Most seo experts follow blog commenting for their backlinking.

I suggest you don't use keyword instead of name... It doesn't quite help and also seems like a spam so you will get less click through rate. Instead use your real name but in the comments try to include the keywords from your niche as/when possible. I am sure it will help in efficient and much better link building. :)
