Thread: Should I Stop using Big G's Stuff?

Hey,

I recently started to use SEO hosting and I have scraped like 1K forums and blogs to drop links on. Basically, I am using these same sources to build links to pretty much all of my money sites and I am using Google's Webmaster Central and Google analytics for my reports and stuff. All of my money sites are hosted on a VPS and are using the same nameserver with same IPs.

Recently, I was thinking that Google may catch me red handed and slap my sites because of the same sources of backlinks. So, do you think I should stop using GA and Webmaster Central to stay under the radar?

Another thing you could do is build web 2.0 properties and articles that link to your money sites and then link them to the 1,000 links you are going to drop.

i prefer doing as above stated, i never do mass linking for my main site, but instead to my 2nd level properties

Is there a possibility for Google to come to know about my linking strategies if I use his reporting tools or are they safe?

AFAIK , if u use Adsense,it is a jeopardy..
But why risk G ?
Use some other analytics right away..
and Stay away from Webmasters tool

Ok sounds doable. Btw, can you recommend some other good traffic tracking method I can use? A self hosted script will do too. I am currently using Piwik.

Aw-stats

With our without GA or using webmaster toolz, Google can see the linkage anyway. I wouldn't get concerned too much as long as you don't have massive footprints.

GA > Aw-stats just stick to it.
